I think you have a better chance today than you had with armored ships in ww2 or earlier. Back then they used heavy torpedoes and heavy bombs which broke the ships apart, often killing hundreds of crew when it sank.
From the little experience we have with modern naval combat, the crews have a reasonable chance to survive direct hits from anti ship missiles such as the Exocet, as the ships have a better chance of staying afloat.
For example the [HMS Sheffield](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Sheffield_%28D80%29), or the [USS Stark](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Stark_%28FFG-31%29)
On the other hand, the [ARA General Belgrano](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ARA_General_Belgrano) is an example of a heavy torpedo hit against an armored cruiser.
