It’s interesting to see these kinds of pictures because it’s a safe bet that he’s put a lot of expertise and thought into each and every piece of equipment he carries, right down to what bits and pieces he puts on his weapon. Nothing is there for show, it all serves a practical purpose, and he know exactly how to set it up to get the job done.
I’m looking at the stock of his rifle, and it looks like he has a first aid dressing electrical taped to it – [something like this (different though)](http://www.zulunine.com/firstaid/fluidcont/eb/eb.html). It makes sense – his weapon is always in his hands, and a field dressing is something you don’t want to have to dig around to find. So put it there and it’s always available for use.
