We have 9 in the mag and 1 bullet in the chamber, and not extra, the is nothing in the satchel, the satchel is polished with [kiwi](http://www.kiwicare.com/kiwimcmssite/us/products/leather/paste-polish.html) a shoe polish, and we use about 125 hours on it from new, and maybe about 50 hours if you get it from someone else, we build the polish in layer by layer style to get it super nice looking like a mirror, you have to could the what time it is in your satchel and shoes, by holding a watch next to it. And if you should be so stupid as to try and open it, all the polish on top will make cracks and fall off , so no there is nothing in the satchel.
About the rules, yes there a few, no tripods on Amalienborg square, 1.5 meters from the garder, and 1.5 meters from the walls and gates of the palace. if you get closer than that I would remove you, either with my voice, my hands or my weapons.
I have never hear that about warnings shots on cars, and I kinda don’t believe it, because the Amalienborg square are public road, its a roundabout, so if someone is driving shitty, we call the cops. at least that’s what we did.
And the guard was in [combat](http://forsvaret.dk/lg/publishingimages/lg/lokale%20resurser/vagtkompagniet/historie/default/scan0004_ebe5ef7b-1884-4c35-be7a-61bb737c5d4c.jpg) (there is no real photos) under world war 2, the day that the Germans invaded Denmark, the royal guards fought until the king commanded them to surrender.
There are only on [Fredensborg](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fredensborg_Palace) (not Frederiksborg) when the queen is there the same with [Gråsten](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gr%C3%A5sten_Palace) and [Marselisborg slot](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marselisborg_Palace)
But they are on guarding [Rosenborg](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosenborg_Castle) , [Amalienborg](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amalienborg) and where we [live](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosenborg_Barracks) everyday.
> Those large black hats are actually open in the top to allow for ventilation, as they can get extremely warm in the summer.
I wish that was true, but alas its not, no they can not open in the top, there is to ventilation, they took a reading of it, on a summerday there is 72 degrees C. (161.6 degrees Fahrenheit) in it, so when it get above 32 we are commanded to just the lighter hat [like them](https://www.hjv.dk/HHV/TRFS/HHD%20VEJLE/POHVK%20KOLDING/Nyheder/Billedbibliotek/garder1.jpg), so there is not weakness in that, because if we are getting a heat stroke, what’s the point in being guards, the mission before the tradition.
Before a shift, I would use 3 – 4 hours if nothing was broken, to get a nice finish.
If the shoes was damaged it would take 3 – 4 hours to get them ready.
If the satchel was broken, shit son, you just fucked your days off duty.
May i ask where you get your info from because its a bit off reality ?
