Looks like the only major difference between the H and J was the *nose* turret, and that was due to a shortage of the H-model turrets in Fort Worth area. Question then becomes whether this is one of the few H models made in Fort Worth, or if it is just a mislabeled J model.

EDIT: Clarified WHICH turret was different.

FURTHER EDIT: After looking a bit deeper, it looks like the plane was made in 1941, but the combat group it was assigned to wasn’t formed until 1944, so it is possible that the plane was stateside until 1944, in which case the original title may be accurate.
