The front cocking serrations for one. They made it into the MGS model and onto the TM airsoft version. Since most people are more likely to come across one in a video game or a toy than a real one many think they’re on the real gun.
Since before going to the Gray room I’ve handled exactly two Mark 23s in my life and have never shot one I don’t know of any other differences off the top of my head other than the lettering on the side but I wouldn’t be surprised if there were several changes over the various prototypes. Another person on the tour pointed out that the prototype USP Match had the front sight post mounted all the way forward at the compensator rather than on the slide like the production model.
