People knock the 5.7x28mm all the time, but the bottom line is they don’t know what they’re talking about. It is extremely effective against soft targets and one of the best PD rounds out there. That being said, the difference from one round to another is more or less negligible, especially compared to shot placement. .22 short can be instantly lethal and a methhead can take multiple .44 mag hits and keep coming. Either way hydrostatic shock is proven with the 5.7 as is a tumbling effect that mimics hollow point wound tracts. On top of that it’s a pistol round that can snap a femur in one hit. Most of all, 20+1 in a sleek package.
