They were brought from south america to be used in the northern borders. They have high adaptability and are very disciplined. The rocky, mountainous terrain in northern Israel is nothing for them. also, they are not intimidated by loud noises, so will not flee in case of gunfire or helicopters. As it turns out they also bond kind of well with humans. Of course, they aren’t used for active combat, but mostly for transport purposes, carrying equipment for soldiers in rough terrain, mainly the Lebanon border. Oh and they’re also used for cuddling and warmth in cold nights.
Llamas are absolute badasses.
